Our Administrators
Sandy Arrant
It’s such a great honor being your child’s Principal at SSDI, working alongside Assistant Principal Samantha Fowler. Together, Mrs. Fowler and I will continue the great works that are happening both inside our classrooms and around our community. The safety and well-being of our children will always remain top priority on our campus and inside our building! I’m excited to get to know each one of you.
This year marks my 26th year in education, with the last 9 years being an administrator. I have had the opportunity of being a classroom teacher with experience teaching every elementary school grade level, including honors programs and as an Academic Intervention Specialist. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from Troy University and as well as Master Degrees in both Educational Leadership and Curriculum and Instruction.
It is our mission to love, educate and help prepare all students for graduation and a successful future. It is my responsibility to cultivate a safe and positive learning environment, where students will know they are loved and receive a high-quality education that will help them grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Dixon Intermediate strives for excellence through strong partnerships with families and community stakeholders, and I’m looking forward to what we will achieve together.
Samantha Fowler
I am honored and excited to join the S.S. Dixon Intermediate family as the new Assistant Principal. With 12 years of experience in education, I have had the privilege of serving in various roles, including classroom teacher, school counselor, and behavior coach.
As the Assistant Principal, I am committed to being a servant leader who goes above and beyond for our school community. I am here to support not only our students and staff but also you as parents and guardians. My door is always open, and I welcome your questions, concerns, and feedback. Together, we can create a positive and enriching experience for our children.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education. I look forward to working with you and witnessing the growth and achievements of our students throughout the year.
