The Student Government Association is one of the most involved clubs at SSDI. SGA students participate in monthly community outreach projects. facilitate a fall food drive, create posters and cards for our annual Veteran's Day program. The SGA also assists with PBIS events.

SGA student representatives are voted in by their classmates at the beginning of the school year. Students are selected based on good character, leadership skills and willingness to participate in projects. Students serve as a SGA representative the entire school year.
